The murder of George Floyd, and subsequent events of the past week, have been a harsh reminder of how far we have to go to confront racial inequality and have reinforced the need for all of us to do our part to address longstanding inequities. As a result, we recognize that your approach, ideas, and priorities may have shifted in response to the needs and demands of your community.

We want to give all potential applicants time to reflect. And we encourage those for whom recent events may have spurred an interest in applying to have the time you need to complete an application. Therefore, we are extending the time for applicants to submit an Expression of Interest for the Community-led COVID-19 Recovery Action Accelerator from Wednesday, June 3rd to Wednesday, June 10th. 

At Seek Common Ground we believe that working with you to empower community-based decision making that elevates the priorities of families, students, and educators can be a means to address the twin scourges of this pandemic and systemic racism.
