Kinkini Banerjee
Kinkini Banerjee is a strategist, collaborator, and network weaver with over two decades of experience in the non-profit sector. In her philanthropy work she has been deeply involved in community-centered, trust-based partnerships to transform capital, technology, partnerships, influence, power, and resources to engage the deepest conditions of systems change. Until recently, she was the Director of Community-Centered Design and Network in the Education Initiative of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), a philanthropy with a Whole Child Approach to student success, managing a significant portfolio of partnerships and grants and weaving the education network.
Prior to CZI, Kinkini was the Director of Coalitions at the United States Breastfeeding Committee, where she co-led the organization's DEI, belonging, and justice journey and guided USBC's policy development and advocacy to be grounded in human rights-based participation.
Kinkini serves on the Board of Trustees of her county's health care system (Alameda Health System), guiding the diverse, multi-objective efforts of the anchor institution in advancing health equity and building healthier communities. She is also the Founder and Principal of Sage Transformations, where she serves as a Strategic Advisor for a number of national initiatives on strategy, network building, organizational and leadership development for social transformation.
Through her deep, personal conviction of the interconnectedness of destinies, she strives every day to facilitate and actively support the convergence of people, movements, and sectors, to co-create and hold spaces of deep inclusion and belonging for emergence, paradoxes and just systems change.
