Organizational Background: LINKS Community and Family Services vitalizes the community and improves individuals' and families' quality of life by creating a sustainable environment by providing services and programs that promote self-empowerment and unity.
Project: LINKS engaged 25 young people and their caregivers in an agricultural extension program to grow food for their community in Akron. The garden served as a conduit for students and adults to build meaningful relationships, gain resiliency skills, and create a place of freedom and expression in their community.
